What to expect:
Dialogue. A discussion. Because there is so much flexibility within the chart to make your own decisions, I’ll need to ask you about how the energies depicted in your chart are currently showing up in your life. This will enable us to make the conversation relevant to your experience, and to devise solutions to your actual struggles. I am not psychic.
There’s no way we’ll be able to cover everything. You are a complex person, your chart will take a lifetime to unfold and it would be impossible to say everything we can learn from your chart in one hour. Therefore, it helps to have an intention or focus for each reading. I like to do a general overview of the chart the first time we meet, then move into working on specific issues, questions or transits you might have in the second half of the reading or in subsequent readings. I use Astrology in my own life on a daily basis.
I’ll need your birth info. I’ll need to know the date, time and city of your birth to cast an accurate chart. The more accurate the time given, the more accurate the reading can be. So if your parents tell you you were born “sometime in the morning,” see if you can find better info on your birth certificate or memorabilia from your birth. If you absolutely cannot find your birth time, we can still get lots of helpful info out of your chart, we’ll just be missing some of the technical aspects of a reading that make it more accurate.
We’ll meet online using Zoom. If you download the free app, we’ll have the option to video chat. Otherwise, you can call in from any phone.
Audio recording. Emailed to you within 72 hours of the reading.
I’ll take notes. After the reading is over, I’ll save some notes about our reading so the next time we work together, you won’t have to repeat everything you just said the last time.
Technical stuff about my approach to Astrology: I use the Whole Sign house system and traditional rulers for the signs. I don’t use the outer planets as sign rulers, but I do look at them in the chart. I am mostly oriented towards a Hellenistic approach these days, but started out with an Evolutionary Astrology orientation. I still believe in Free Will and the power of Astrology to assist us in making the best possible choices, and I don’t think our fates are inflexible. At this time I do not work with the asteroids, but that might change in the future.
